We took apart the crib today, this time for good.
We put it downstairs to await garage sale days.
We set up C's brand new Big Boy bed.
He is playing joyfully with his sister on it now.
I cried.

What a great day you had and lots of writing of blogs too I see! So nice to get that insight into your family and the dynamics ... K seems to be heading towards being a sensitive wee soul which the world needs! You are doing a great job training that sensitivity so that she can also potect herself from geting too hurt too often.
ResponderEliminarI know what you mean about feeling of worth to the wider world and making a contribution - you certainly are doing that - and just don't worry about that housework! Now that I have a house empty of offspring, I find I have all the time in the world to do it, but no inclination! However, things do stay as they are a lot more now, and so the need to do it so often just isn't there.
