to laugh, or to cry?
This morning I do not know which force is pulling me more. I had to leave Mom at the airport early and, although it can be stressful having a houseguest for a couple of weeks and juggling work and personal schedules to accomodate, it sure was nice having her here for a while. It would be nice not to live quite so far away...

I know what you mean. When I lived in the Deep Freeze, I saw my mother about twice a year. Now I am seven minutes away from her and we see each other every day. I love that.
ResponderEliminarI'm glad you had the chance to have a good long visit.
Oh boy, I can only imagine what you are feeling. I never lived more than 4 miles away from my mom and dad. Now I wish we could have visited even more than we did. So glad you had a wonderful time making memories. I hope you took lots of pictures too.
ResponderEliminarZ: The Deep Freeze? Ugh...sounds worse than Sweden!
ResponderEliminarAlthough I'm not quite sure if I could handle seven minutes' distance, certainly less plane trip hours would be nice. At least on the same side of the continent. But alas...
Val: No pictures. I can't believe it myself. I realized that today upon reading your comment. I guess we were just too busy enjoying ourselves...? Which I suppose is a very good thing!
I think on the same side of the continent would be really nice Mapiprincesa.
ResponderEliminarSeven minutes was nice when she blew up her hamburger/rice dish and needed help cleaning up. I had bribe pictures..... but I understand what you mean.
